Work Dates Needed: Asap, Ongoing, full-time position (40 hours per week). Preferred Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts (or as agreed upon with the facility). Worksite Setting: Adams County Correctional Center, Natchez, MS Correctional facility housing adult ICE detainees. Scope of Work: Provide professional medical care, including examinations, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatments, and follow-up care for detainees. Collaborate with the Medical Director, Health Services Supervisor, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Perform minor surgeries and occasional major surgeries when necessary. Hold medical clinics, provide health counseling, and participate in treatment team meetings. Monitor inpatient hospitalizations, catastrophic illnesses, and overall facility healthcare standards. Maintain security, confidentiality, and accuracy of medical records. Provide leadership in the medical unit, participate in facility investigations, and adhere to all security protocols. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license. Valid DEA registration. Graduate from an accredited school of medicine. Valid driver s license.
